“The Department of Psychiatry has been proud to partner with TIDE since 2021 to advance equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-racism, and anti-discrimination education across our academic community. Together, we successfully implemented department-wide unconscious bias training that reached more than 700 faculty members across 20 teaching sites.

“Through our partnership with TIDE, we are now addressing Royal College accreditation requirements by offering accredited anti-racism, anti-discrimination, and anti-bias training to support faculty in our training programs. Level 1 – An introduction to bias and inclusion or inclusive cultures. No previous education necessary
Level 2 – Assumes an introductory-level understanding of bias and inclusion. The focus is on exploring more challenging topics & practical approaches.
Level 3 – Assumes an intermediate understanding of bias and inclusion. Covers more advanced topics. May focus on particular challenges, opportunities, or special topics.

A key element in our workshops is when participants discuss real-world scenarios. This is best accomplished in break-out groups, followed by sharing insights in plenary. Would your unit benefit from break-out group facilitators in addition to the session presenters?*
