Research
Our research investigates the barriers to equity, diversity, and inclusion in academic and professional environments, and develops evidence-based tools and frameworks to help institutions overcome them. Our projects span inclusive research practices, bias education, and the supports needed by faculty and research leaders.

SHIFTS assess the needs of researchers from a wide range of disciplines and lay the groundwork for developing a practical tool to support increased adoption of inclusive research practices. It will provide recommendations for the development of a future tool that will lead to more inclusive research practices and equitable research ecosystems in Canadian academia.
