About

The purpose of this project, titled Support for Canada Research Chairs: Inclusive Recruitment & Research Group Culture, was to provide expanded and targeted unconscious bias and inclusion education offerings for Canada Research Chairs, nominees, and support staff at the University of Toronto. This included the development of new and expanded online training and education modules available to faculty and staff at the U of T, a specialized equity-focused workshop for CRCs and nominees, and a REB-approved mixed-methods study to gather information on how best to support CRCs and CRC nominees on EDI issues moving forward.

  • Outcome 6: Process for Asynchronous Module Development 

Future Directions 

  • Development of CRC-focused scenarios for future training sessions. 
  • Development of CRC-focused workshops for current chair holders and future nominees.
