Research environments aren’t experienced the same way by everyone. The perspectives of Black trainees are often unaccounted for in existing initiatives to improve research culture.
The SHIFTS Survey is assessing the perceived experiences of Black trainees in research groups across disciplines. We want to learn about your training experiences, barriers, and needs related to inclusive research practices.
Findings from the overall needs assessment will inform the development of targeted resources aimed at increasing inclusive research practices across universities.
