Advancing Anti-Racism, Anti-Discrimination, and Anti-Bias in Medical Education and Practice
This interactive workshop supports educators and clinicians in strengthening their capacity to address anti-racism, anti-discrimination, and anti-bias in healthcare and learning environments. Grounded in the Canadian context, the session explores how inequities shape experiences in medicine and equips participants with practical strategies to respond effectively in real-world situations. Through facilitated dialogue and applied learning, participants build skills to identify and interrupt bias, foster inclusive environments, and contribute to more equitable systems at individual, interpersonal, and organizational levels.
