This workshop is designed for individuals involved in academic review and assessment processes, including promotion, merit-pay adjustments through the ranks, and grant-reviews. Participants examine how bias can influence evaluation and are introduced to practical tools for identifying and interrupting bias in the moment.

The session also explores what units and committees can put in place structurally to reduce bias and support fairer, more consistent evaluation practices.
